It's a girl!

Kaiya Jayce arrived on May 5th, 2009 at 6:13pm weighing 6lbs 7oz and was 18.75 inches long.

Mom and baby are doing great, we are enjoying lots of family company and are enjoying our new daughter.

Pregnancy Pictures!

Well here are the long awaited pictures of me. They were taken at 34 weeks pregnant. Jed took them at the house and they turned out pretty good. I hope you enjoy them.

As of this post I am 37 1/2 weeks pregnant. I am feeling very good, besides the swollen ankles and carpel tunnel in the hands. I think we are pretty much ready for the arrival of our little one and anxiously awaiting the big day! We will keep everyone updated on our status and any news.

The nursery!

Well we have been hard at work on the nursery for our little one. Below are a few pictures of our progress so far. My grandfather made the cute white bench. We think it turned out just adorable and looks great in the room! We do not have a mattress for the crib yet but that should be here soon. We also do not have anything on the walls, but will probably not be doing much until after the baby arrives so that we can make it more gender specific. We love how the color of the walls turned out and think it goes beautifully with the crib. We are getting very excited about our upcoming arrival and the nursery brings it closer to reality! We will share more pictures with you as things get updated.
